Thanks for choosing ASK! Before we continue, please read the terms of service carefully. ASK will only provide laundering services upon acceptance of all the terms of service. If you do not agree to ALL of the terms of service, we will not be able to provide you with Laundering Service.

 

STUDENT PLANS AND STUDENT PAY AS YOU GO

DELIVERY and LAUNDRY QUANTITY
ASK is a flat rate laundry service that provides regular laundering washing services. Delivery/pick up is included with your service. Student laundry plans are for one person; if two people are using the same laundry bag ASK gives one warning; the second time ASK may cancel the plan with NO REFUND. Laundry bags are delivered once weekly on an assigned day based on location within our service area. Laundry bags must be brought out and ready for pick up by the specified time we provide you. Please have your bags out by that time or you might end up missing your pick up for that week. If you forget to put your bag out for pick up you will still be billed for these weeks. ASK is not responsible for laundry once it leaves our possession, before pickup or after delivery. Your garments will only be released to you once you have shown a valid form of identification such as a student I.D or Government photo ID Or prior approval of a specific person.

Our office is closed on all Sundays and statutory holidays.

SERVICE CHANGES/NOTIFICATIONS and ACCOUNT INFORMATION
ASK may need to adjust service hours or location of pick up due to school events, holidays, exams etc. Notification to students and/or parents occurs via email or phone. Registrants are responsible for the accuracy of account information on file, including but not limited to student’s current phone number, permanent home address, phone and email address. ASK is not responsible for missed notifications or invalid contact information.

REPORTING
All claims (including missing/damaged items) must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. ASK cannot guarantee against color loss, bleeding, and shrinkage when following manufacturer’s care instructions. ASK cannot guarantee removal of existing stains even though we take additional steps to remove stains that are identified prior to processing. Do not put anything in ASK Laundry bags except regular washing machine items. If you put anything into the bag that is not regular machine washable, we cannot guarantee that it will be found or returned in good condition. Although ASK attempts to check all laundry and pockets for foreign objects, we are not responsible for damage to clothing or to the foreign object resulting from the laundering process. Objects found are returned to the customer. The customer agrees that refunds or credits when ASK is responsible for a loss or damage will be calculated based on the value of the damaged garment and will be prorated and paid out per the fair claims guide - Ontario Fabricare Association criteria in the form of an account credit or in the form of CA dollars not to exceed $150.00 in value for 1 item or $400.00 in value for a full bag claim.

PREPAYMENT and OTHER DISCOUNTS
A discount of 10% off the student monthly rate before taxes is offered on services if you prepay for the full period of 16 or 32weeks. Payment is made in advance, and there are NO cash or credit card refunds or transfers for pre-paid service. NSF payments will automatically be charged $45 and you will be contacted to make an alternate payment. You are responsible for advising ASK of any credit card number or expiry date changes prior to your next bill. There is no refund for pre-paid service.

REFUND POLICY
Ask is dedicated to insuring the quality of our service, if you are not satisfied you may cancel during the first 30 days (Trial Period) for a prorated credit or refund, less a $25 cancellation fee. Prorating begins the date a completed Change in Service Form is received during business hours via email. The Trial Period begins when service is requested or classes start (the latter). Students are not refunded for under-usage of services from prior weeks. No refunds are issued after the 30 days but wash and fold laundry payments may convert to ASK Laundering credits for a different ASK plan or pay as you go credit. If a customer cancels service on or before start date and has not received a laundry bag, a full refund is issued.

CREDIT
Damage and complimentary credits expire at end of the academic school year. CHANGE OF SERVICE credits expire at end of original service term. Overpayments post as credits to account and remain until a refund has been requested by the customer.

BILLNG and PAYMENT OPTIONS

ASK Student plans are available in 16 and 32 week plan options. We accept monthly instalments or a full payment up front with a 10% discount. All payments are to be paid in full up front and are not refundable. Plans include a laundry bag that can be filled as full as you like as long as it closes. Any laundry bag turned in containing potentially hazardous materials (ex. plate of spaghetti, tons of mud, or vomit), protein, or a quantity of soil that requires extra processing will result in a $15 Heavy Duty charge per instance requiring extra processing.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Interact Electronic Money Transfer for prepaid plans. We accept only Visa and MasterCard for monthly instalments. You will be billed the same day of the month you requested monthly service to the credit card given at registration.
Invalid cards require prompt monthly payment or late fees apply until balance is current. 30-day overdue accounts may result in the withholding of clothes until bill is paid in full.

CANCELATION, CHANGE IN SERVICE
ASK requires fourteen (14) days notice prior to cancellation of services. We do not provide refunds for cancellation of services.
We reserve the right to cancel service to any person who we find to be abusing our products or consistently violating our terms of service.

ASK requires 1 week's (7 days) notice to make any changes to your order.
Service Plans are cancelled or changed ONLY by submitting a completed Change in Service Form via email.  Change or cancellation is not processed at truck locations or by phone. Parents and Students, not ASK, are responsible for communicating any changes. Use of service that contradicts a submitted Change in Service Form is charged accordingly.

RESIDENTAIL PLANS AND PAY AS YOU GO

ASK Residential plans are available in 4, 12, and 26 week plan options that are designed for a Single adult, two adults, or a family of four. All payments are to be paid in full up front and are not refundable. Plans include a laundry bag that can be filled as full as you like as long as it closes. Each plan has a weekly or weight (lbs) limit.  We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Interact Electronic Money Transfer for prepaid plans.

CANCELATION, CHANGE IN SERVICE
